A dissappointment

I have been a loyal Steinberg customer since 1999. I use Cubase, Halion, and Wavelab. Steinberg has always produced well thought out and well executed products, and their ongoing support of products has always been strong.

A controller for an iPad seemed like the perfect solution to the related issues of a multi-room home studio. Naturally I assumed Cubase IC Pro would be my best choice. I could not believe it when I discovered that there is no accurate input metering in this app. Sure, the meters move up and down, and indicate that a signal is present, but you could be clipping the signal and never know it with this app. Without accurate input metering, in my opinion this is almost an useless app.
